American Standard will not stand behind their product

I had the first year the condenser fan motor go out in first 11 months. The second went out in 9 months. They blamed everything else but their product. Had checked both times and was not the problem.

The corporate office just blew me off and said it was my problem. Their rep lied about what was wrong and never came to check or take the certified installers word nor called me to see what they could do to correct.

They are selling Mexico made junk. Trane owns this company and when you take the outer plates off it is a Trane. I had a Trane the first 12 years and all the new stuff according to my repair company and others that have bought one is they will never buy another and they are nothing but cheap junk. These are the biggest piece of junk and never would buy another.

Even the installers are mad because they won't stand behind the product and they are constantly breaking and they won't admit to the problem. I wish I could find a class action law suit for they are taking people’s money with bad product and the product is not made like it use to be. So my advise along with others is stay away from Trane or Standard for they both have the problems.
