I have learned a lot just by reading/finding your web site. My A/C is 6 yrs old; it is Carrier model # 38ckc042350. It has been working great for the past 6 years, until 2 days ago when it stopped blowing cold air. It seems like the unit is running but still no cold air.

Luckily I have a home warranty coverage placed on my home, I have called them and they will be out in a few days to fix it. Having a Home Warranty policy is the best way to go!

It covers about 90% of items in your home that could break down...just as your A/C! I live in Northern CA, having a home warranty is popular here but I'm sure you can get a coverage outside CA.
