I was informed that the pan is cracked in the fan coil. Is it true that I will to replace the entire unit? Or can the drain pan itself just be replaced?
Thank you for your feedback. I did get a 2nd opinion and the same advice as your was provided. I am glad I decided to inquire rather then be taken advantage.

You meant "Pan" as the thing under the evaporator coil, right?
It is flat and underneath the evaporator coil. It purposes is to collect the water from the evaporator coil.
No, you don't need to replace the entire evaporator coil for cracked pan. Yes, the drip pan can be replace alone.
