Basically you have to calculate the Heat to be removed on per hour basis to maintain the room temp. at desired level. Its called Heat load Calculations.
It calculates the heat generated inside the room as well as the heat coming from outside of the room. The result shows the tonnage required along with the Air flow required to achieve the desired conditions
